My Story

My name is Leonard Chatman Jr., and I’m a proud Jacksonville, Florida native and U.S. Navy veteran whose life and work are rooted in service, leadership, and purpose. Those early lessons in discipline, accountability, and responsibility continue to shape how I communicate, lead, and show up for others.

Communication has always been at the core of my journey. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from University of Phoenix and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Corporate & Public Communication at Florida State University. I believe education sharpens not just knowledge, but impact—and I’m committed to continually refining my voice as a communicator and changemaker.

My work and influence are deeply connected to the Jacksonville community. I’m honored to be a two-time Best Motivational Speaker Award recipient, a 2022 honoree of the Jacksonville Business Journal 40 Under 40, and a 2023 alumnus of Leadership Jacksonville. These milestones reflect a consistent commitment to uplifting others and strengthening the communities I serve.

Whether I’m speaking on stage, facilitating conversations, or working behind the scenes, my mission remains the same: to help people communicate with confidence, lead with integrity, and move with purpose.
